Chains

I have to say that I'd never heard this song before, which is surprising as my best friend had, I thought, made me listen to all of the Beatles songs ever. 'Chains' makes me think of all the times that I liked a boy and I knew I shouldn't but I couldn't stop. Richard. Nick. Luke. Zack. All just names to you, but to me they're people. And more than that, they're moments in my life that I overcame moments and grew into a better person. 
Into someone that knows what she doesn't want. Someone that knows that it's not okay for someone to make you feel bad just for existing. Yes, I do go after the same type of guy, but one day this type of guy isn't going to be a jerk and I'll be the best person I can be for them.
